The “Pal Info” mod for Palworld is designed to enrich your gameplay experience by providing an array of detailed information about the wild Pals you encounter. This mod not only displays basic stats but also delves into more nuanced details, significantly enhancing your strategic approach to capturing and utilizing Pals.

Key Features of the Mod

  • Species Capture Count & Number in Pal Box: Keeps track of how many of a certain species you’ve captured and how many are currently stored in your Pal Box.
  • Pal IVs / Talents for Each Stat: Gives insight into the individual values and talents of Pals for better team building.
  • Stats: Offers a comprehensive view of a Pal’s statistics.
  • Passive Skills: Details the passive abilities each Pal possesses, allowing for more informed decisions in combat and exploration.
  • Research / Progression System: Introduces a system where information about Pals can be progressively unlocked, adding an element of discovery.
  • Lua Configs: Allows players to customize what information is displayed and how the UI looks, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • In-game Toggle: The mod can be easily enabled or disabled with the shortcut Shift+O, making it convenient to switch off the additional information if desired.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the Mod: Start by downloading the mod zip file.
  2. Access Game Directory: Navigate to the Palworld game directory through Steam by right-clicking on Palworld, selecting “Manage,” and then “Browse Local Files.”
  3. Prepare Game Files: Unzip and place the contents of the UE4SS file into the “Win64” folder within the game’s directory. Launch the game to generate any necessary additional files.
  4. Install Mod: Ensure there’s a “LogicMods” folder within the “Paks” directory (create one if not present), and place the “PalInfo.pak” file from the unzipped mod file into this folder.
  5. Configure and Play: Optionally, download the Pal Info Configs side mod to adjust settings to your preference, or start playing immediately with the default settings.

  • Enabled (True / False) – Turn mod on or off
  • HideXXX (True / False) – Whether to hide the specified XXX UI element
  • IgnorePartyPals (True / False) – Whether to ignore Pals in Party for UI detection
  • CenterDrops (True / False) – Whether to center-align the content of the Pal Drops container. By default it is left-aligned.
  • LookDistance (Any Number) – How far away the Pal is allowed to be to show UI. Currently uses very large units, but someone asked for it to be even larger
  • UIOpacity (Decimal between 0 and 1) – Changes how transparent the UI is
  • UntilHideDuration (Any Number) – Number of seconds until UI will hide after breaking line of sight
